An Interview With Kevin Crossley-Holland

The Letterpress Project has asked authors and illustrators to think about what has inspired them as artists, what their favourite books are and how they relate to their audience - we've also asked them if they themselves are book collectors.

We are thrilled to present an exclusive interview with the hugely talented Kevin Crossley-Holland. Kevin is a poet and a prolific writer  for children and young adults.   His most recent books are Heartsong, with Jane Ray, a new collection of poems, The Breaking Hour, both published last year, and The Riddlemaster published in June 2016. Kevin has translated Beowulf from the Anglo-Saxon, and his retellings of traditional tales include The Penguin Book of Norse Myths and British Folk Tales.
